Emojiland is an electric ensemble musical about a diverse community, all made of binary code, who take one another at face value: a smiling face with smiling eyes that is ‘Sad On The Inside’; a princess who doesn't want a ‘New Crown in Town’; a skull crossing his bones for deletion; a nerd face too nerdy for their own good; a 'Sunny’ face with sunglasses who can't see past their own reflection; and a police officer and construction worker who just want to ‘Work Together’. When an internal ‘Virus’ threatens to destroy life as they know it, Emojiland faces the most fundamental question these faces have ever faced: What do we ‘Stand For’?
Emojiland was nominated for the 2020 Off-Broadway Alliance Award: Best New Musical
